Iman Sheybani
I first discovered Ayurveda when pregnant with my daughter and was struck by the beauty and wisdom behind its postpartum protocols, many of which mirror customs in the Muslim world. I thereafter spent many years studying under Vaidya Jessica Vellela, graduating from Ayu Academy's Svastha Acharya program in 2021. The deeper I got into my study, the more I began to realize the links between Ayurveda and Islamic teachings and how Ayurveda can be used to support the type of holistic health proposed by the Quran.
